Founder & Managing Director
Douglas Development Corporation was founded by Managing Director James Douglas. From a high-profile family involved in real estate and developments, James’ interest in property development started at a young age. He completed a double degree at Bond University in Business (BBus) and the other in Sustainable and Urban Property Development. After graduating, he gained extensive experience in Toronto, Canada working for a large development company before returning to the Gold Coast to begin his own company
Over his career, James has built a large network of industry professionals ranging from consultants, contractors, landowners and local councils. These close, ongoing relationships ensure the long-term success of Douglas Development Corporation.
